Anyone can knock. Earn the territory

Every spring we hand a short list of people a Segway, a badge, and one summer to find out what they are actually made of. The work is hard, the rejection is constant, and the ones who finish it don’t go back to ordinary jobs.

The job, without the pitch

We would rather lose you here than in week three. So here is the honest version.

The work

You will hear no. A lot.

A first-year rep closes about 1 in 25. Twenty-four conversations that go nowhere are simply the price of the one that does. The skill is not dodging the no — it is knocking the twenty-fifth door like it is the first of the day.

The people

You get coached, not managed.

Your leads are on the same streets you are, and they take your bad days personally. What they coach is bigger than the pitch — how you handle rejection, how you show up when it is hard. You leave a different person than you arrived.

The payoff

No pay band. No ceiling.

Every account you close pays you, and nothing caps how many you close. There is no salary review to wait on and no manager deciding what you deserve this year. You decide exactly what you are worth, and then you go out and collect it.

How a spot gets filled

Four steps. No portal.

Start to finish it takes about a week to know where you stand. You will talk to actual people at every stage.

01

The application

This page. Three questions and a phone number. Ten honest minutes beats a polished résumé here, every single time.

02

A real phone call

Fifteen minutes with a team lead, not a recruiter reading a script. We are mostly listening for whether you can hold a conversation with a stranger.

03

The offer

If both sides still want it, you get your territory and a start date. Sign it and you are on the roster.

04

Training camp

You get drilled on product, objections and the pitch until it is muscle memory. Nobody is sent out to figure it out alone — you start the season ready to compete.

Step 01 — The application

Make your case

Four fields. No résumé, no cover letter, no account to create. A team lead reads every one of these personally.

  • Answered by a person, usually inside 48 hours.
  • No degree, no experience, no sales background needed.
  • The video is optional and has never once been why someone was cut.

By invitation

We are not taking open applications this season. If a team lead pointed you here, they gave you a code — enter it and the form opens.

That code is not right. Check it against the message that sent you here.

No code? Message the rep who recruited you, or visit aptiverecruiting.com to get connected.

Required

Enter the name you go by.

Required

So a team lead can actually reach you. US or Canada number.

That does not look like a 10-digit phone number.

Required

The rep or team lead who gave you the code.

Tell us who sent you here — first and last name if you have it.

A short paragraph is plenty. Be specific and be honest — generic answers are the easiest ones to pass on.

Give us at least a sentence or two — 40 characters minimum.

Optional

A 30–60 second clip of you talking, hosted on YouTube, Google Drive or Instagram. Paste the link. Skip it and nothing bad happens; plenty of people we hired never sent one.

Paste a full link starting with https:// — or leave it empty.

Your answers are stored in this page and read by the Aptive recruiting team. Anyone holding this link can view submitted applications, so please do not include anything you would not share with the team.

You are on the list

We have got it. A team lead reviews every application personally — expect a call or a text from a local number within about 48 hours. Pick up.
